Mary McGee
Mary McGee (; December 12, 1936 – November 27, 2024) was an American motorsport racing pioneer. She was the first woman to compete in motorcycle road racing and motocross events in the United States. Starting out as a sports car racer, she competed in motorcycle road racing and motocross from 1960 to 1976, then began competition again in 2000 in vintage motocross events. Mary Ann McGee (born September 25, 1986) is an American professional boxer. She held the IBF female light welterweight title from 2019 to October 2021 and challenged for the WBC female lightweight title in 2013. Professional career McGee made her professional debut on May 20, 2005, scoring a four-round unanimous decision (UD) victory over Jasmine Davis at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, Indiana. After compiling a record of 7–0, she faced undefeated Rita Figueroa (9–0, 3 KOs). The fight was stopped and ruled a no contest (NC) in the fourth round of a scheduled eight-round bout after an accidental clash of heads. Mary Rose McGee (August 17, 1917 – March 5, 2004) was an American politician from New York (state), New York. She was the first woman elected to the New York State Assembly from Long Island. Life She was born Mary Rose Grasher on August 17, 1917, in Kansas City, Missouri. She moved to Bayside, Queens early in her life and moved to Huntington, New York, Huntington, Suffolk County, New York, in 1949. She married Francis Patrick McGee, had three children, and later got divorced. Mary Rose McGee entered politics as a Democratic Party (United States), Democrat, and was Town Clerk of Huntington from 1967 to 1976. The New Zealand Youth Parliament, held once in each term of parliament (usually every three or four years), is an event used to promote the civic and community engagement of New Zealand youth. Founded 1992 by John Loder, Southern Records is an independent record label (Loder also ran the recording facility Southern Studios). It is based in London and until 2008 had offices in the United States, France and Berlin. The label is closely associated with Crass Records, Corpus Christi Records and Dischord Records. Loder became friends with musician Penny Rimbaud and collaborated with him in an experimental band called EXIT.
