Martin Danggo
Martin M. Danggo is an Indian politician from the state of Meghalaya who serves as the current Minister of Public Works Department (Roads) in the Government of Meghalaya, and represents the 35th Ranikor Scheduled Tribe (ST) constituency in the South West Khasi Hills district in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. Danggo was first elected to the Assembly as a representative of the People's Democratic Movement (PDM) in the 1998 Assembly election for the Langrin (ST) constituency. National People's Party (India)
The National People's Party is a national-level political party in India, though its influence is mostly concentrated in the state of Meghalaya. The party was founded by P. A. Sangma after his expulsion from the NCP in July 2012. It was accorded national party status on 7 June 2019. It is the first political party from Northeastern India to have attained this status.
