Martijn Spierenburg
Martijn Spierenburg (born 30 January 1975) is a composer and arranger. He was also the keyboard player for the Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation from 2001 to 2024. In 2018, it was announced that he would be the composer for the musical "Nieuw Amsterdam", which describes the role of the Dutch during the emergence of the city of New York, back in the Golden Age. This piece will be the successor to the successful Dutch piece "Soldaat van Oranje". Spierenburg has written and arranged music for several (international) artists, TV series and games. He joined Within Temptation in 2001, shortly after the release of Within Temptation's second full-length studio album, '' Mother Earth''. He was a member of Within Temptation until his departure in December 2024. Marteinn Einarsson
’Marteinn Einarsson (died 7 October 1576) was bishop of Skálholt from 1548 to 1556. He was the second Lutheran bishop and was directly involved in the Icelandic Reformation. Early life Marteinn was born in Staðarstaður on the Snæfellsnes peninsula to the poet Einar Ölduhryggjarskáld and Ingiríður Jónsdóttir. Marteinn's family had a tradition of serving as priests. His father, Einar, was a priest in Staðarstaður from about 1500 until his death in 1538, and Ingiríður's brother, , had served as bishop of Skálholt from 1491 to 1518. David Martijn Westerholt (born 30 March 1979) is a Netherlands, Dutch musician and the founder, keyboardist and main songwriter of the symphonic metal band Delain. He was previously a member of symphonic metal band Within Temptation, until he was diagnosed with infectious mononucleosis shortly after the release of Within Temptation's second full-length studio album, ''Mother Earth (Within Temptation album), Mother Earth''. Martijn van der Linden (born 1979) is a Dutch illustrator. Career Van der Linden illustrated the book ''Stem op de okapi'' written by Edward van de Vendel and they both won the Woutertje Pieterse Prijs in 2016 for this work. For this book he also received a Vlag en Wimpel award in 2016. In 2017, van der Linden won the Gouden Penseel award for illustrating the book ''Tangramkat'', written by his wife Maranke Rinck. The book includes a seven-piece tangram puzzle which can be reorganised into pictures of various animals. The illustrations in this book were also part of an exhibition in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam that year.
