Mark Gordon
Mark Gordon (born March 14, 1957) is an American politician serving as the 33rd governor of Wyoming since January 7, 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as state treasurer; then-governor Matt Mead appointed him to that position on October 26, 2012, to fill the vacancy created by the death of Joseph Meyer. Early life and education Gordon was born in New York City, the son of Catherine (née Andrews) and Crawford Gordon. Gordon’s father grew up on Drumlin Farm, in Lincoln, Massachusetts. His parents married on October 27, 1945, at the First Unitarian Church of Kennebunk, Maine, before settling at their ranch in Kaycee, Wyoming, in 1947. Gordon’s paternal grandmother was the philanthropist Louise Ayer Hatheway. Mark Richard Gordon (born October 10, 1956) is an American producer. He is a former president of the Producers Guild of America. In January 2018, Gordon was named president and chief content officer of film and television for Entertainment One, which had acquired his production company, The Mark Gordon Company. Early life and education Gordon was born on October 10, 1956 in Newport News, Virginia. He is of Jewish descent. He is a graduate of New York University Film School. Career Gordon's first producing effort was the Off-Broadway production of ''The Buddy System'' at Circle in the Square downtown. ''Highway to Heaven'' is an American fantasy drama television series that ran on NBC from September 19, 1984, to August 4, 1989. The series starred its creator and co-director Michael Landon as Jonathan Smith, an angel sent to Earth to help people in need. Victor French, Landon's co-star from his previous television series, ''Little House on the Prairie'', co-starred as Mark Gordon, a retired policeman who travels with and helps Smith with the tasks or "assignments" to which he is referred. Landon directed most of the show's episodes, and French directed many of the remaining ones. It was Landon's third and final TV series and his only one set in the present day, unlike ''Little House on the Prairie'', and Landon's first TV series, ''Bonanza'', both of which were Westerns. Disappearance Of Constance Marten And Mark Gordon
Constance Marten and Mark Gordon are a couple who disappeared between 5 January 2023, when their burning car was found abandoned near Bolton, until the date of their arrest on 27 February 2023, in Brighton. Their disappearance coincided with the birth of their daughter. When the couple were subsequently arrested, they were not with their baby, triggering a police search involving over 200 officers across an area of around extending from Brighton to Newhaven. On 1 March 2023, the child's corpse was discovered in a shopping bag inside an allotment shed, near to where the couple had been apprehended. After two trials, Marten and Gordon were convicted of causing the child's death through gross negligence. Marcus Melvin "Marc" Gordon (October 14, 1935 – June 16, 2010) was an American Grammy-winning record producer, songwriter and music executive, best known for his work with Hal Davis at Motown, and for his later involvement with The 5th Dimension. Biography Gordon was born in Denver, Colorado and initially worked as an engineer with the Howard Hughes Corporation. Around 1960, he started managing and also writing songs with R&B singer Hal Davis, in Los Angeles.
