Mark Frost (born 23 October 1971) is an English former professional darts player from Stoke-on-Trent. He played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events and used the nickname Frosty The Throw Man for his matches. Career Frost made his televised debut at the 2008 Stan James World Matchplay, where he qualified through the PDC Pro Tour order of merit. The Final Countdown (song)
"The Final Countdown" is a song by the Swedish rock band Europe, released in 1986. Written by their lead singer Joey Tempest, it was based on a keyboard riff he made in the early 1980s, with lyrics inspired by David Bowie's " Space Oddity". Originally intended only to be a concert opener, it is the first single and title track from the band's studio album of the same name. The music video by Nick Morris, made to promote the single, has received over 1.3 billion views on YouTube. The video features footage from the band's two concerts at Solnahallen in Solna, Sweden as well as extra footage of the sound checks and footage from Stockholm. 2017 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2017 William Hill World Darts Championship was the 24th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at Alexandra Palace in London from 15 December 2016 to 2 January 2017. Phil Taylor made a 28th successive appearance at a World Championship (including the BDO version), equalling the record of John Lowe. The tournament took place at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, from 20–26 July 2008. World number three James Wade went into the competition as the defending champion and managed to reach the final for the third year in a row, but was defeated by top seed Phil Taylor 18–9 who won his ninth World Matchplay championship. 2009 UK Open
The 2009 Blue Square UK Open was the seventh year of the PDC darts tournament where, following numerous regional qualifying heats throughout Britain, players competed in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, England, between 4–7 June 2009 and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw is staged after each round until the final. Gary James Grant Anderson (born 22 December 1970) is a Scottish professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number thirteen; he reached a peak ranking of world number two from 2015 to 2017.
