Mark Ferguson (news Presenter)
Mark Ferguson (born 22 February 1966) is an Australian television news presenter, who currently presents '' Seven News'' in Sydney on weeknights. He was previously a senior news presenter with '' Nine News Sydney.'' Career After working with regional stations in New South Wales and Queensland, Ferguson joined the Seven Network in 1989 and reported for a number of '' Seven News'' programs, including ''11AM'' and ''Hinch''. He moved to Sydney in 1991, before moving to the Nine Network in 1992. At Nine he became London correspondent and reported from the UK on a number of major stories including the death of Princess Diana. In 1997, he returned to Sydney as a reporter and in 2001 became a presenter, initially on the ''National Nine Early News'' at 6 am, and later the ''National Nine Morning News'' at 11 am. Tamworth is a city and administrative centre of the north-eastern region of New South Wales, Australia. Brian Henderson (television Presenter)
Brian Weir Henderson (15 September 1931 – 5 August 2021) was a New Zealand-born Australian radio and television personality and pioneer known for his association with the Nine Network as a television news anchor in Sydney, as well as a variety show presenter and host of music program ''Bandstand'', the local version of the US music program ''American Bandstand''. Henderson, who started his career in radio, went on to become a long-serving Australian newsreader for 45 years, having presented the news bulletins for Sydney station TCN-9, either on weekends or weeknights, from 14 January 1957 until retiring from TCN-9 on 29 November 2002. His role as weeknight presenter at the time was subsequently given to Jim Waley. ''Sunday Night'' was an Australian news and current affairs program produced and broadcast by the Seven Network. The program aired on Sunday nights and was hosted by Melissa Doyle. It premiered on Sunday 8 February 2009. History ''Sunday Night'' was a newsmagazine show, featuring a mix of feature stories, investigative reports, forums and interviews. Unlike other newsmagazine programs, the show initially featured a live studio audience. Additionally, early episodes of the show were immediately followed by a companion program, ''The All in Call'', a live question and answer session broadcast on Seven HD and online. The separate program was later axed, and the discussion was integrated into the final segment of ''Sunday Night''. Ian Charles "Roscoe" Ross (24 June 194030 April 2014) was an Australian television news presenter for '' Seven News'' in Sydney and for ''Nine News''. Career Commonly known as "Roscoe", Ross began his career in 1957 at Sydney radio station 2GB. He returned to Sydney as a ''National Nine News'' reporter in 1965. Ross remained at Nine for 38 years, where he was most known for his tenure as '' Today'' news presenter. There, he also presented ''National Nine News'' on many occasions, filling in for presenters who were either on leave or sick. In 1997, Ross appeared as himself in the acclaimed Australian film ''The Castle''. ''This Afternoon'' (stylised as ''THIS afternoon'') is a short-lived Australian news and current affairs television program that was broadcast by the Nine Network. It was produced by the network and broadcast live from 4:30pm to 5:30pm weekdays for two-and-half weeks in mid-2009. The program focused on news, sport, weather and entertainment and featured current affairs reports and interviews. The program was presented by Andrew Daddo, radio presenter and journalist Katrina Blowers and news presenter Mark Ferguson.
