Mariela Belski (born 1971) is an Argentine feminist lawyer and human rights activist. As an activist, she promotes the defense and exercise of the rights of women and young people. She is an ambassador for #EllaDecide (#SheDecides), the global women's rights movement. Since 2011, she has served as executive director of Amnesty International Argentina. Mariela González Torres (born 5 April 1974) is a female marathon runner from Cuba, who won the gold medal in the women's marathon at the 2007 Pan American Games. She represented her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, finishing in 59th place. Mariela Muñoz (24 December 19435 May 2017) was an Argentine transgender rights activist and politician. She raised twenty-three children over the course of her life. In 1997, she became the first trans woman to be officially recognized by the government of Argentina.
