Salihe Aydeniz (born 1973, Ergani, Turkey) is a Turkish politician of Kurdish origin. of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and a current member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Since November 2019, she is the co-chair of the DBP. Education and early life Aydeniz received her primary education in Ergani, Diyarbakır and graduated as a nurse from the health institute in Diyarbakır, going on to work as a nurse in Dargeçit, Mardin. She has presided over the Trade Union of Public Employees in Health and Social Services and been a member of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK). Gülser Yıldırım (born 1 January 1963, Nusaybin, Mardin) is a Kurdish politician of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and former member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In 2011, she was elected into the Turkish parliament out of prison, but had to wait until 2014 until she was allowed to assume by a Turkish court. Early life and education She was born in Nusaybin, where she attended primary and secondary school. Muammer Güler (born 21 March 1949) is a Turkish Mhallami politician. He is a member of parliament from the Justice and Development Party (AKP). He was formerly the Governor of Istanbul Province and the Minister of the Interior under Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's government. Biography Güler was born in Mardin, Turkey. Erol Dora (born 2 February 1964, in Hassana near Silopi) is a lawyer and a politician of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP). A member of the Assyrian people community in Turkey, he is a well-known advocate for minority rights, Assyrian particularly the human rights situation of Turkey's Christian minorities. In the 2011 general election Dora became the first ethnic Assyrian member of the Turkish Parliament, and the first Christian MP since 1960. Orhan Miroğlu (born 1 January 1953, Midyat, Turkey) is a Turkish politician of Mhallami origin and columnist for Taraf and Today's Zaman.
