''Man on the Moon'' is a 1999 biographical comedy drama film about American entertainer Andy Kaufman, starring Jim Carrey as Kaufman. The film was directed by Miloš Forman, and also features Danny DeVito, Courtney Love, and Paul Giamatti. An in-joke, also known as an inside joke or a private joke, is a joke with humour that is understandable only to members of an ingroup; that is, people who are ''in'' a particular social group, occupation, or other community of shared interest.
