''Man in Motion'' is the fifth studio album by Night Ranger, released in 1988. This album was the first studio album recorded by Night Ranger after the departure of keyboardist Alan Fitzgerald, who was replaced by Jesse Bradman. Background "Man in Motion" saw a change in the musical direction of the band, focusing on a more guitar driven sound. Unfortunately the change in direction did not result in much radio play and the album became the first Night Ranger album to fail to achieve gold or platinum status Bassist and singer Jack Blades would leave the band in 1989 to form rock super group Damn Yankees with Tommy Shaw of Styx and Ted Nugent. In gridiron football, motion refers to the movement of an offensive player at the time of the snap. While there are different rules regarding motion, most mandate that no more than one player may be in motion at the time of the snap, and the player must not be an offensive lineman (typically, the player in motion is a wide receiver or running back). Richard Marvin Hansen (born August 26, 1957) is a Canadian track and field athlete (Paralympic Games), activist, and philanthropist for people with disabilities. Following a pickup truck crash at the age of 15, Hansen sustained a spinal cord injury and became a person with paraplegia. Hansen is most famous for his Man in Motion World Tour, in which he circled the globe in a wheelchair to raise funds for charity.
