Maindhan (2014 Film)
''Maindhan'' () is a 2014 Tamil-language Malaysian action comedy film directed by C. Kumaresan, who also enacted the lead role. The film also stars Shaila, Gheetha, Rabbit Mac, Hanuman and THR Uthaya. Malaysia rapper Darkey made a special appearance. The film had a limited release on 9 August 2014 in Malaysia, Singapore, and Tamil Nadu. It gained acclaim from critics and also emerged as the highest grossing locally produced Tamil film of all time before getting beaten by '' Vedigundu Pasangge'' in 2018. Plot After failing in his love life, Dev finds company in alcohol. In his state, he often sees an old man who gives him hints on how his day is going to turn out. One day, he accidentally bumps into a young boy from a shelter home. He realises there is an uncanny similarity between the boy and his ex-girlfriend, so he decides to get to know the boy further only to uncover something Dev didn't wish he knew in the first place. 'Punnagai Poo' Gheetha
Gheetha Ammasee, best known by her stage name "Punnagai Poo" Gheetha, is a Malaysian radio personality, film producer and actress, who works in Malaysia and the Tamil film industry in India. Gheetha gained popularity as a radio jockey at the Malaysian radio station THR Raaga, before launching her own film production studio and venturing into Tamil cinema, becoming recognized as the first female producer from Malaysia. She has also worked as a host at various events and acted in several kollywood films as well as a Malaysian film. ''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications. It was founded in 1932 as ''The Indian Express'', under the ownership of Chennai-based P. Varadarajulu Naidu. ''Vedigundu Pasangge'' is a 2018 Tamil language comedy-drama film from Malaysia. It was the final instalment of ''Pasangge trilogy'' film series after ''Vilayaatu Pasange'' (2011), and ''Vetti Pasanga'' (2014).
