''Khaleja'' () is a 2010 Indian Telugu language, Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Anushka Shetty and Prakash Raj, while Shafi (actor), Shafi , Sunil (actor), Sunil, Brahmanandam and Ali (actor), Ali play supporting roles. The plot follows Raju (Babu), a cab driver who gets hailed as God in a remote village and ends up facing GK (Raj), a powerful industrialist, to save the village. The film deals with Mining scams in India, illegal-mining in India, and related environmental damage. Trivikram Srinivas
Trivikram Srinivas (born Akella Naga Srinivasa Sarma; 7 November 1971), often credited as Trivikram, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. In 2021, he became one of the highest-paid directors in South Indian cinema. He has garnered six state Nandi Awards for Best Dialogue Writer and two Filmfare Awards for Best Director. In 2015, he received the BN Reddy National Award for his contribution to Indian cinema. A University gold medalist with a Master's degree in Nuclear physics, Trivikram initially had no plans for entering entertainment industry, but his keen interest in Film and Telugu Literature paved the way into becoming a Screenwriter, and a Film director.
