Magna-Fi
Magna-Fi was a rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. It consisted of guitarist and lead vocalist Mike Szuter alongside his brother C.J. Szuter on guitar, bassist Rob Kley, drummer Charlie Smaldino, and, in their later years, guitarist Christian Brady. They are perhaps best known for performing "All Hail Shadow" on the ''Shadow the Hedgehog'' (2005) video game soundtrack, as well as their single "Where Did We Go Wrong", which was used for the '' NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup''. History Mike and C.J.'s previous band, The Szuters, had found moderate success touring and releasing albums in Japan. However, their music seldom left the country, and the group essentially split after their third album in early 2000. Crush 40
Crush 40 is a Japanese-American hard rock band. The group consists of guitarist and composer Jun Senoue and principal vocalist Johnny Gioeli. Crush 40 is best known for producing most soundtracks for the Sonic The Hedgehog series in the 2000s. Senoue has been employed by Sega as a composer since 1993. While preparing music for ''Sonic Adventure'', he contacted Gioeli to perform the game's theme song, "Open Your Heart". They also recorded the soundtrack for '' NASCAR Arcade'' under the name "Sons of Angels", which was released in Japan as the album ''Thrill of the Feel'' (2000). Afterward, Senoue and Gioeli continued recording music for further ''Sonic'' titles, as well as their own original songs. ''Thursday at the Square'' was a free weekly concert series held annually from May through August at Lafayette Square in Buffalo, New York. History The first year of the series was held in downtown Buffalo at the corner of Main and Chippewa. Beginning in 1986 the series was held in Buffalo's Lafayette Square. It was originally called ''Thursday in the Park'' until a name change in 1994. It grew from a casual showcase of local talent to a professional display of both local and national music acts. Buffalo Place sponsored the concert series that ran every summer from May until September. Every Thursday Lafayette Square was transformed, bringing citizens from nearby suburbs into the city. Jun Senoue
is a Japanese composer and guitarist. He is a sound director for the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' video game series by Sega and serves as the songwriter of the Japanese-American rock duo Crush 40, which he formed with Johnny Gioeli in 2000. The duo contributed songs to each of the series' major titles until 2010, after which Senoue remained involved in musical production for further ''Sonic'' games. Biography Senoue was born on August 2, 1970, in Matsushima, Miyagi, Japan, and started playing the piano at the age of three. After moving to Panama at the age of 12, he became dedicated to rock music after being exposed to MTV. He began to teach himself to play the electric guitar at the age of 15, and made his first original band recording by the age of 17. ''EA Sports NASCAR Team Racing'' is an arcade racing game developed by EA Tiburon and released by Global VR. It is part of the '' EA Sports NASCAR'' series. The game was released on Friday August 3, 2007 at the AAMA Gala. Up to four racers (10 with the version 1.1 update) race against each other and the CPU in one of the major NASCAR tracks (i.e. Daytona International Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, etc.).
