Mafizullah Kabir
Mafizullah Kabir (28 February 1925 - 1986) was a Bangladeshi historian and researcher. He was a professor of history at the University of Dhaka. Early life Kabir was born on 28 February 1925 in Noakhali District, Bengal Presidency, Presidencies and provinces of British India, British India. In 1941, he finished his High Madrasah and in 1943, his Intermediate Examinations. He learned Arabic and Persian while studying at the madrassah. He did his undergraduate in 1946 and graduate studies in 1947 in history from the University of Dhaka. He completed his Ph.D. at the SOAS University of London in 1953 with his thesis on Buyid dynasty. The Iran Society of Calcutta published his thesis in 1964. Mafiz Ali Chowdhury
Mafiz Ali Chowdhury (1919–1994) was a Bangladeshi politician who was part of the Bangladesh Awami League and a former Minister and Member of Parliament. Early life Chowdhury was born in 1919 in Mongalbari, Joypurhat District, East Bengal, British Raj. He graduated from Kolkata Presidency College with a Bachelor of Science and completed his Master of Science in 1937 from the University of Dhaka. In 1949, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy from Lehigh University. He was a member of the London-based Royal Society of Chemistry. Career Chowdhury became involved with politics while still a student, joining the All India Muslim Chhatra Samity (All India Muslim Student Association). Mafizuddin Ahmed
Mafizuddin Ahmed ( – 26 September 1997) was a Bangladeshi educationist and scientist. He served as the first vice-chancellor of Jahangirnagar University. He was a founding fellow of the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences. Early life and education He was born in a respectable family in Gangair village under Dhalapara Union, Ghatail, Tangail. Ahmed completed his bachelor's and master's in chemistry from the University of Dhaka in 1942 and 1944, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1948. Mafizuddin Ahmed Hazarika
Mafizuddin Ahmed Hazarika (1870-1958) was an Indian poet belonging to the Jonaki era of Assamese Literature. He was popularly known as 'Gyan Malinir Kobi' among the people of Assam. He was elected as the president of the 12th Asam Sahitya Sabha in 1930 held at Golaghat district, Assam. He was one of the organizers of Dibrugarh Sahitya Sabha and served as its secretary from 1904 to 1934. He also presided over the "Chatra Sanmilan" held at Sibsagar in 1930. Mafizuddin Ahmad (; 1891–1979) was a Bengali politician and former government Minister of East Pakistan. Early life Ahmad was born in 1891 in the village of Barashalghar, Debidwar, Tipperah district, Bengal Presidency. Mafizul Islam Khan Kamal is a freedom fighter and politician. He is a former member of parliament for the then Dhaka-3 (Manikganj-3) constituency from Bangladesh Awami League. Ali Mufiz (born 21 July 1944) is an Indonesian academician and politician who served as the governor of Central Java between September 2007 and August 2008.
