Madring
The Madring, officially Circuito de Madring, is an under-construction street motor racing circuit located around the IFEMA in the Barajas area of Madrid, Spain. It will host the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix starting in 2026, joining the list of circuits that have hosted world championship races since 1950. The circuit will have a layout of 5.474 km (3.401 mi) and will be used to host Formula 1, Formula Two and Formula Three events. With its construction, it will be the heir to the Circuito del Jarama as a racing circuit when the last Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix was held in Madrid in 1981, becoming the seventh Spanish circuit to host a race in the highest category of world motorsport after the Pedralbes, Jarama, Montjuïc, Jerez, Montmeló and Valencia circuits. 2026 Formula One World Championship
The 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship is a planned motor racing championship for Formula One cars which will be the 77th running of the Formula One World Championship. It is recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body of international motorsport, as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars. The championship will be contested over several Grands Prix held around the world. Spanish Grand Prix
The Spanish Grand Prix (, ) is a Formula One motor racing event currently held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The race is one of the oldest in the world still contested, celebrating its centenary in 2013. The race had modest beginnings as a production car race. Interrupted by the World War I, First World War, the race waited a decade for its second running before becoming a staple of the European calendar. In 1927 it was part of the 1927 Grand Prix season, World Manufacturers' Championship; it was promoted to the European Championship (auto racing), European Championship in 1935 before the Spanish Civil War brought an end to racing. Valencia Street Circuit
The Valencia Street Circuit (, ) was a street circuit in Valencia, Spain which hosted the Formula One European Grand Prix for five years (2008–2012). The first Formula One race meeting on the circuit was held over the 23–24 August 2008 weekend, with Felipe Massa winning the main event, the European Grand Prix, after starting from pole position. The circuit used the roads skirting the city's harbour and America's Cup port area – including a section over a swing bridge – and also included some roads designed exclusively for racing purposes by the German architect Hermann Tilke, who also designed the infrastructure buildings for the circuit. Bernie Ecclestone
Bernard Charles Ecclestone (born 28 October 1930) is a British business magnate, motorsport executive and former racing driver. Widely known in journalism as the "F1 Supremo", Ecclestone founded the Formula One Group in 1987, controlling the commercial rights to Formula One until 2017. Born in Suffolk and raised in Bexleyheath, Ecclestone began his business career trading automotive parts after World War II. He started racing in Formula Three in 1949, winning multiple races at Brands Hatch driving a Cooper Mk V. After purchasing two Connaught chassis in , Ecclestone entered the Monaco and British Grands Prix in Formula One as a privateer, but did not qualify at either. Stefano Domenicali (born 11 May 1965) is an Italian motorsport executive and the current CEO of Formula One Group since 2021. Early life Domenicali was born in Imola, the son of a banker. As a child, he used to go to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari racetrack at weekends to help out in the paddock and in the media centre – an experience that piqued his interest in motor racing.
