Madhavaram Krishna Rao (born 19 February 1967) is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi. He represents Kukatpally Assembly constituency. Early life Madhavaram Krishna Rao was born in Kukatpally, Ranga Reddy District to Narayana Rao and Sakku Bai. Before joining TRS Mr. Rao was part of Telugu Desam Party from the Party inception. Political career Madhavaram Krishna Rao was elected from the Kukatpally Assembly constituency in 2014 at the age of 46 in the Telangana state from Telugu Desam Party. He also served as Vice chairman GHMC Kukatpally. Personal life Madhavaram Krishna Rao is married to Laxmi Bai and has two children. Mr. Rao has 2 younger brothers and 1 elder sister. Madhavaram Lake
Madhavaram Lake also known as Manali Aeri, or Mathur Aeri or Madhavaram Aeri, is a 150-acre lake in the Manali- Mathur- Madavaram area of Chennai, India. Geography Due to indiscriminate dumping of garbage and sewage, the lake has shrunk to less than 100 acres. A recent study by Nature Trust, an NGO working on the flora and fauna recorded in the lake, showed that about 55 species of birds have been reported in the wetland. However, about 500 birds were regularly sighted till the mid-1990s. The lake was cleaned by NSS volunteers of JHA Agarcen College in Madhavaram in December 2009. Madhavaram Depot metro station is a metro railway station on the Red Line of the Chennai Metro. Madhavaram Mofussil Bus Terminus is a bus terminus in Chennai, India, located in the neighbourhood of Madhavaram, providing outstation/inter-state transport services. Spread over an area of , it was built to decongest the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus in Koyambedu. It will chiefly handle buses to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including cities such as Chittoor, Tirupati, Nellore, Vijayawada, Kurnool, Puttaparthi, Visakhapatnam, Bhadrachalam, and Hyderabad. As of 2018, the number of passengers travelling from Chennai to these two states daily average 12,500.
