''Made In America'' is an EP by Aerosmith, originally released on March 18, 1997, by Columbia/ Sony Music. The EP was sold exclusively at Wal-Marts in Canada and the United States to coincide with the release of the '' Nine Lives'' album. On February 8, 2001, Columbia/Sony (with distribution from Resource Media) reissued the EP in the US for general release. This release was also exported to many different countries including Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK. "Seasons of Wither" is a power ballad by American hard rock band Aerosmith. It was written by lead singer Steven Tyler and is five minutes and thirty-eight seconds in length. It was released in 1974 on the band's second album ''Get Your Wings''. Background According to Tyler, the song was inspired by the Massachusetts landscape in wintertime. ''Pandora's Box'' is a compilation album, released on November 19, 1991 by Aerosmith. Issued by Columbia Records to capitalise on the band's newfound success with Geffen, the box set consists of three discs that cover Aerosmith's output from the 1970s and early 1980s. Alongside alternate versions, previously unreleased songs, live renditions and remixes, ''Pandora's Box'' features previously released studio material. The original issue was as a long cardboard-box, containing three CDs (each in its own jewel-case, with inserts) and booklet that detailed the tracks and had comments from the band members. Later issues did away with the outer box, utilising a cardboard slipcase, but reproduced the booklet in 'CD-size'. Concentrating mainly on heavier material than the radio-friendly singles output on ''Greatest Hits'', the album is noted for the inclusion of the 1978 studio version of "Chip Away The Stone" – previously released as a single from 1978's '' Live! Bootleg'', only a live rendition of the song was released at the time. ''Live! Bootleg'' is a double live album by American hard rock band Aerosmith, released in October 1978. While most of the performances were drawn from concerts in 1977 and 1978, "I Ain't Got You" and " Mother Popcorn" were taken from a radio broadcast of a Boston performance on March 20, 1973. Background The design of the album is intended to ape the poor production values offered by contemporary bootleg records, even going so far as to give an incorrect track listing: the song "Draw the Line" is included on the record but does not appear listed; the track is a secret track after "Mother Popcorn". The album also features a secret live instrumental cover of " Strangers in the Night" inserted into their cover of " Train Kept A-Rollin'", which was probably a nod to a similar quote by Jimi Hendrix during "Wild Thing" at the Monterey Pop Festival. Richie Supa
Richard "Richie" Supa (born Richard Goodman) is an American songwriter and guitarist best known for his work with Aerosmith, The Rascals and Richie Sambora. Supa released several albums under his own name, including ''Supa's Jamboree'' (1971, Paramount 6009), ''Homespun'' (1972, Paramount PAS 6027), ''Lifelines'' (1976, Epic PE34277) and ''Tall Tales'' (1978, Polydor PD-1-6155). Richard's song "Stone County Wanted Man", which appeared on the ''Supa's Jamboree'' album, was recorded by Johnny Winter for his '' Saints & Sinners'' album. A longtime friend of Aerosmith, he has made a number of musical contributions to the band and has offered moral support. Written by Richie Supa, a friend and sometime collaborator with the band, it was released in 1978 as the only single to support the band's live album '' Live! Bootleg''. Written by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, the song was originally released as the second single from the album '' Toys in the Attic'' (1975). It peaked at number 10 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in early 1977, part of a string of successful hit singles for the band in the 1970s.
