Madagascar At The 2019 African Games
Madagascar competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. Athletes representing Madagascar won six gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals. The men's team won the gold medal in 3x3 basketball at the 2019 African Games, 3x3 basketball and all other medals were won in Weightlifting at the 2019 African Games, weightlifting. Flag Of Madagascar
The national flag of Madagascar is a tricolour featuring two equal horizontal bands of red and green with a vertical white band of the same size on the hoist side. It was designed by Andrianome Ranaivosoa, an agent of the Malagasy National Geographic Institute. The design was chosen by a technical commission on 15 October 1958 and officially adopted on 21 October, one day and one week after the Malagasy Republic was proclaimed, respectively. Everisto Mulenga (born 26 March 1999) is a Zambian amateur boxer. He won a bronze medal at the 2019 African Games and later qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics by winning the African Qualification Tournament, both at featherweight. Career Mulenga won a silver medal at the 2016 African Region V Youth U20 Games in Luanda, losing to Ricardo Malajika of South Africa in the finals.
