Macedonians in Serbia (; ) are a recognized national minority in Serbia. According to the 2022 census, the population of ethnic Macedonians in Serbia is 14,767, constituting 0.2% of the total population. The vast majority of them live in Belgrade and Pančevo. History The first session of the Anti-fascist Assembly for the National Liberation of Macedonia (ASNOM) was held on 2 August 1944, the anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising, at Prohor Pčinjski Monastery in the Bulgarian occupation zone of Yugoslavia, what is today southern Serbia, just north of the Macedonian border. The Assembly declared Macedonia the nation-state of Macedonians within Yugoslavia. The Serbs are one of the constitutional ethnic groups of North Macedonia (, sr-Cyrl-Latn, Срби у Северној Македонији, Srbi u Severnoj Makedoniji), numbering about 24,000 inhabitants (2021 census). Megleno-Romanian Language
Megleno-Romanian (known as by its speakers, and Megleno-Romanian or Meglenitic and sometimes Moglenitic or Meglinitic by linguists) is an Eastern Romance languages, Eastern Romance language, similar to Aromanian language, Aromanian. Gudurica
Gudurica (; ) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Vršac municipality, in the South Banat District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Serb ethnic majority (66.21%) and a sizable ethnic Macedonian minority (10.49%), and its population numbering 1,092 people (2011 census). Part of the Macedonians of Gudurica are in fact assimilated Aromanians and specially Megleno-Romanians that came to the village from the Macedonian SR it following the expulsion of its native German population. Serbian Banat
Banat ( , ; ; ; ) is a geographical and historical region located in the Pannonian Basin that straddles Central and Eastern Europe.
