Indochine () is a French rock music, rock and New wave music, new wave band formed in Paris in 1981. They became very successful in the Francophonie, Francophone world, Europe and Latin America in the 1980s, with songs like "L'Aventurier" and "Canary Bay". IAM (band)
IAM (pronounced "I am") is a French hip hop band from Marseille. Formed in 1989, it comprises Akhenaton (rapper), Akhenaton (AKH; Philippe Fragione), Shurik'n (Geoffroy Mussard), Khéops (Éric Mazel), Imhotep (musician), Imhotep (Pascal Perez) and Kephren (François Mendy). Cornelius Nyungura (born 24 March 1977), known by his stage name Corneille, is a Canadian R&B singer. He was born in West Germany to Rwandan parents. He spent most of his childhood in Rwanda, and eventually emigrated to Quebec, Canada, in 1997. He sings in French and English. His work is greatly influenced by American funk and soul music; he is inspired by Prince, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. Early life Corneille was born in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, although he spent much of his childhood in Rwanda. One-T are a French animated band created in 2000 by Eddy Gronfier and Thomas Pieds. Eddy Gronfier produces the music while Thomas Pieds creates the artwork and visuals. They were successful across Europe, especially France and Germany, with their 2003 hit single "The Magic Key", but since then were not able to repeat that success and remained a one-hit wonder. Kyo is a French Rock music, rock band with lead vocals by Benoît Poher. The band was first active from 1997 to 2005 with three albums ''Kyo'' (2000), ''Le Chemin (Kyo album), Le Chemin'' (2003) and ''300 Lésions'' (2004) and a string of singles. Pleymo
Pleymo is a French nu metal band formed by Mark Maggiori, Benoît Julliard, Fred Ceraudo, and Mathias Borronquet in Paris in 1997. Pleymo has sold over 100,000 albums to date. The band's name apparently originates from the lead singer once having a haircut as a child that was similar to that of Playmobil figures.
