MBLAQ
MBLAQ (, ; an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean boy band created by South Korean singer Rain under J. Tune Camp. The group consists of Seungho, G.O, and Mir, and formerly Lee Joon and Thunder. The group debuted on October 15, 2009, at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert. On October 14, 2009, the group released their debut single album, '' Just BLAQ'', which topped various online and offline music charts in South Korea. The group then released their first extended play album '' Y'' on May 19, 2010, and on January 10, 2011, MBLAQ released their first studio album, ''BLAQ Style''. On December 16, 2014, it was announced Joon and Thunder had departed from the group and they will focus on individual activities for the time being. Mir (singer)
Bang Cheol-yong (, born March 10, 1991), better known by his stage name Mir, is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, and actor. He is a member of guy group MBLAQ. He Conscription in South Korea, enlisted in the army on 2016. He was discharged in July 2018. Early life Mir was born in Bukha-myeon, Jangseong County, South Korea in the country side. Career MBLAQ (2009–2015) Mir is the rapper and youngest member of the group MBLAQ. In 2011, Mir had injured himself, he had to go under a spinal disc surgery, but arrived to perform with the group after being inactive due to his injury. During the time with MBLAQ, Mir wrote the lyrics to "You're my +" and "Can't Come Back" alongside G.O around the year 2011. Thunder (singer)
Park Sang-hyun (; born October 7, 1990), known by his stage name Thunder (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actor and model. He is a former member of South Korean boy band MBLAQ. Lee Chang-sun (; born February 7, 1988), better known by his stage name Lee Joon (), is a South Korean actor, singer, model and DJ. He is best known as a former member of the South Korean boy band MBLAQ. BLAQ Style
''BLAQ Style'' is the first full-length album by South Korean boy band MBLAQ, and was released by J.Tune Camp on January 10, 2011 at 11 AM KST. MBLAQ's title songs will include "Stay" and "Cry". A re-release of the album, retitled ''BLAQ Style - 3D Edition'', was released on February 22, 2011. Consisting a total of 16 tracks, the album contains the 13 tracks from ''BLAQ Style'', as well as 3 new tracks. Two of the three new tracks included MBLAQ's participation in its production. The track "돌아올 수 없는 (Can't Come Back)" was composed by G.O and the lyrics were written by Mir, while the song titled ''You'' was written and composed by Cheon Doong. Included in the repackage is the CD containing all 16 tracks, and a DVD consisting of the music videos of "Stay" and "Cry", as well as a 'making of' video. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet from the CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. It features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. First hosted by Leeteuk, Shindong, and Kangin of Super Junior, the show has had various celebrity emcees through the years. As of March 2025, ''M Countdown'' is hosted by Sung Han-bin of Zerobaseone and Myung Jae-hyun of BoyNextDoor. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. E-Tribe
E-Tribe () is a South Korean record artist and music duo consisting of Ahn Myung-won and Kim Young-deuk. They are most known for producing " Gee" by Girls' Generation, " U-Go-Girl" by Lee Hyo-ri, " Yayaya" by T-ara, " It's You" by Super Junior, and "I Know" by Se7en. Due to the consistent success of these singles, the duo has become well known in the South Korean music scene. In January 2011, Happy Face Entertainment debuted their own girl group, Dal Shabet. Their debut song, "Supa Dupa Diva", produced by E-Tribe was released on January 3, 2011.
