Mamamoo (; commonly stylized in all caps) is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by RBW (company), RBW. The group is composed of four members: Solar (singer), Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. Known for their strong live vocals, Harmony, harmonies, and writing much of their material, they are recognized as one of the premier girl groups in K-pop. Kim Yong-sun (, born February 21, 1991), better known by the stage name Solar (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actress signed under RBW (company), RBW. Moon Byul-yi (, born December 22, 1992), known professionally as Moonbyul (; stylized as Moon Byul), is a South Korean rapper and songwriter under RBW Entertainment. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Mamamoo and its sub-unit Mamamoo+. Moonbyul made her solo debut in May 2018 with the digital single Selfish.
