The M9 is a long metropolitan route in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. It connects Sir Lowry's Pass Village with Wynberg via Somerset West, Firgrove, Macassar, Khayelitsha and Nyanga. Route The M9 begins at a junction with the N2 national route just north-east of Gordon's Bay. It begins as Sir Lowry's Pass Village Road by going northwards into the Sir Lowry's Pass Village to reach the Old Sir Lowry's Pass Road, where it turns westwards. It heads west-north-west for 6 kilometres, parallel to the N2, to enter the town of Somerset West and reach a junction with the M153 route, where it changes its name to Main Road. At the next junction, the M9 leaves Main Road to become Andries Pretorius Street via a left turn. M4 Road (Cape Town)
The M4 is a long metropolitan route in the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality in South Africa. It connects the Cape Town CBD with the Cape of Good Hope via Wynberg, Muizenberg and Fish Hoek. Originally, it was the main route connecting the Cape Town CBD with the Southern Suburbs and is thus named ''Main Road'' for much of its length. From the CBD to Kirstenhof, it is parallel to the M3 Freeway. Route The M4 begins at a junction with the M59 route (Buitenkant Street) in District Six (Zonnebloem; east of the Cape Town City Centre), just north of the District Six Museum and just east of the Cape Town City Hall. The R310 is a Regional Route in South Africa that connects Muizenberg to the south-west with the R45 between Paarl and Franschhoek to the north-east, via Stellenbosch and Hellshoogte Pass. The section between Muizenberg and Stellenbosch is called Baden Powell Drive. Route The R310 begins in Muizenberg at an intersection with the M4 (Main Road). Eerste River
The Eerste River, located in the Western Cape, South Africa, rises on Dwarsberg 60 km east of Cape Town at the head of Jonkershoek valley. The Eerste River catchment covers the eastern part of the Cape Flats lying to the west of the Hottentots Holland Mountains and south of the Tygerberg where the Kuils River tributary rises east of Kanonkop. Macassar Dunes Conservation Area is a coastal nature reserve in Macassar, within the City of Cape Town, South Africa. Biodiversity This conservation area conserves the unique local “ Cape Flats Dune Strandveld” vegetation with its dense evergreen thickets, flowers, shrubs and trees. The last remaining forest of the endangered White Milkwood tree (''Sideroxylon inerme'') on the Cape Flats is found on this reserve, and it is also home to the largest and highest dune system on the Cape Peninsula.
