M4 (Warsaw)
The M4 line is the planned fourth line of the Warsaw Metro. It will have a length of approximately and will consist of 23 stations, linking Wilanów with Tarchomin. It will also include a new metro depot, STP Polfa. The line will be an important element of the metro network and the overall transport system in Warsaw. According to initial findings, it is expected to be used by up to 30,000 people per hour. Mokotów
Mokotów () is a district of Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. It is densely populated, and hosts many companies and foreign embassies. Only a small part of the district is lightly industrialised (''Służewiec Przemysłowy''), while the majority is full of parks and green areas ( Mokotów Field). Although the area has been populated at least since the early Middle Ages, Mokotów was not incorporated into Warsaw until 1916. The origins of the area's name are unclear, first appearing as the village of Mokotowo in documents from the year 1367. It is hypothesised to have come from the name of a German owner of the village, who called himself Mokoto or Mokot, although no exact reference to such an individual has been found in historical records. Wilanowska Metro Station
Metro Wilanowska is a station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro, located in the Mokotów district of Warsaw at the junction of Aleja Niepodległości, Puławska Street, and Aleja Wilanowska, all main streets of Warsaw. Rafał Kazimierz Trzaskowski (born 17 January 1972) is a Polish politician and political scientist specializing in European studies who has served as List of city mayors of Warsaw, Mayor of Warsaw since 22 November 2018. Warsaw has seen major infrastructural changes over the past few years amidst increased foreign investment and economic growth. The city has a much improved infrastructure with new roads, flyovers, bridges, etc. Public transport in Warsaw is ubiquitous, serving the city with buses, tramways, urban railway and Metro. Although many streets were widened, and new ones were created, during the rebuilding of Warsaw in the 1950s, the city is currently plagued with traffic problems. The main reason is that in the Communist times, the traffic was small due to the low number of private cars – not only because of the prices of cars, but also because of a hard to obtain special coupon necessary to buy a car. Bus Transport In Warsaw
Bus transport in Warsaw was introduced in 1920. Since 1994, services have been managed by Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego w Warszawie (ZTM Warszawa), and operated by various companies under contract. In 1921, three lines were opened. From November 1939 the regular liquidation of the rolling stock began, only one car survived the war. Bus transport appeared again in April 1945. The first night bus appeared on the streets of Warsaw in 1963. On March 11, 1994, the Warsaw transport was reorganized. The Warsaw Metro () is a rapid transit underground system serving the Polish capital Warsaw. It currently consists of two lines, the north–south M1 line which links central Warsaw with its densely populated northern and southern districts, and the east–west M2 line.
