Lyrics are words that make up a song, usually consisting of verses and choruses. The writer of lyrics is a lyricist. The words to an extended musical composition such as an opera are, however, usually known as a "libretto" and their writer, as a " librettist". Rap songs and grime contain rap lyrics (often with a variation of rhyming words) that are meant to be spoken rhythmically rather than sung. The meaning of lyrics can either be explicit or implicit. Some lyrics are abstract, almost unintelligible, and, in such cases, their explication emphasizes form, articulation, meter, and symmetry of expression. ''Lyrics'' is the fifth studio album by R&B singer Donell Jones. It released by Candyman Music, Jones's own label, through eOne Music on September 28, 2010 in the United States. The album marked his first release with the venture, following his departure from LaFace Records, and features production credits by Mike City and Jones himself. The album debuted at number 5 on the US ''Billboard'' Independent Albums chart and number 9 on ''Billboard''s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart with almost 15,000 in sales. " Love Like This" was the album's lead single and reached the top of the US Adult R&B Songs chart. Critical reception AllMusic editor Andy Kellman rated the album three and a half ouf of five stars. He found that "the majority of it convincingly picks up where 2006's '' Journey of a Gemini'' left off. Jones has nothing to prove nor to lose, and that's the way this album sounds. lyrics is the first and only concept album by Japanese singer-songwriter Miho Komatsu. It was released on 26 November 2003 by Giza Studio is a Japanese record label, music production company and music publisher based in Osaka, founded in 1998 by music producer Daiko Nagato. Giza's artists have provided numerous opening and ending themes for Anime television series such as Meita .... Album includes tracks from previously released albums and couplings from singles based on the voting polls by the fans. Two songs (track #13 and #15) received new arrangements exclusively for this album. The album was released on same day as her single Tsubasa wa Nakutemo and her first essay book ''Hen na Monosashi''. The album reached No. 45 in its first week on the charts selling 8,184 copies. The album charted for three weeks and sold more than 10,709 copies.
