A golem ( ; he, , gōlem) is an animated, anthropomorphic being in Jewish folklore, which is entirely created from inanimate matter (usually clay or mud). The most famous golem narrative involves Judah Loew ben Bezalel, the late 16th-century rabbi of Prague. ''Ribbit King'' is a 2003 sports video game developed by Infinity and Jamsworks and published by Bandai for the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2. The game is based on the fictional sport of Frolf (ケロフ), which is a golf-like game that is played with frogs. The frogs sit on catapults, which the player whacks with a hammer to send the frog flying into the air. It is the successor to ''Kero Kero King'', released only in Japan in 2000 for the PlayStation. Gameplay The objective is to earn the most points possible by landing the frog in the course's hole in the quickest time possible. Players can also earn points by sending their frogs through various spheres scattered through the level. ''The Kwicky Koala Show'' is a 30-minute Saturday-morning cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and Hanna Barbera Pty, Ltd. that aired on CBS from September 12 to December 26, 1981. This series is notable for being among cartoon director Tex Avery's final works; he died during production in 1980. Christian Rub (pronounced ''Rhoob''; April 13, 1886 – April 14, 1956) was an Austrian-born American character actor. He was known for his work in films of the late 1910s to the early 1950s, and was featured in more than 100 films. Biography He was born in Graz, in Austria-Hungary. His first appearance was in the 1919 movie '' The Belle of New York''. Rub was the visual basis for and voice of Geppetto in the 1940 animated Disney film ''Pinocchio'', as well as voices of kindly old men for MGM, Fox and Warner Bros. cartoons. During the creation of ''Pinocchio,'' Rub was notorious amongst the film's animators for his open and frequent expression of admiration for Adolf Hitler.
