"Lucy" is a song written and performed by Julian Lennon, James Scott Cook and Todd Meagher. The song is a quasi-follow-up to The Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", originally inspired by a drawing by a then four-year-old Lennon given to his father. The drawing was inspired by Lucy Vodden, a child friend of Lennon, and this song is dedicated to her. ''Lucy'' (1990) is a novella by Jamaica Kincaid. The story begins ''in medias res'': the eponymous Lucy has come from the West Indies to the United States to be an au pair for a wealthy white family. The plot of the novel closely mirrors Kincaid's own experiences. ''Lucy'' retains the critical tone of '' A Small Place'' but simplifies the style of Kincaid's earlier work by using less repetition and surrealism. ''The Good Son'' is the sixth studio album by the Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released on 17 April 1990 by Mute Records. Hanson is an American pop rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, formed by brothers Isaac Hanson (guitar, vocals, bass, piano), Taylor Hanson (keyboards, vocals, percussion), and Zac Hanson (drums, vocals, piano). Supporting members include Dimitrius Collins (guitar, additional keyboard) and Andrew Perusi (bass), who have toured and performed live with the band since 2007.
