Luciana Caporaso (born 23 June 1973), known mononymously as Luciana, is an English singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, painter, and television presenter. She is of English and Italian heritage. Caporaso has been credited as a songwriter on tracks performed by Britney Spears, Havana Brown, Kylie Minogue, Debbie Harry, and more. Career 1994–2006: Acting and ''One More River'' Caporaso made her acting debut in 1994, in the final episode on the short lived British TV series, ''Anna Lee''. On the show, she sang the track "Sister Sister" and other incidental songs. House is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by a repetitive Four on the floor (music), four-on-the-floor beat and a typical tempo of 115–130 beats per minute. It was created by DJs and music producers from Chicago's underground Clubbing (subculture), club culture and evolved slowly in the early/mid 1980s as DJs began altering disco songs to give them a more mechanical beat. ''Anna Lee'' is a British television crime drama series, first broadcast on 10 January 1993, that ran for a total of six episodes on ITV. The series, loosely based on the detective novels of Liza Cody, starred Imogen Stubbs as the title character, alongside Brian Glover, John Rowe, Peter Wight and Wil Johnson. The series was produced by Brian Eastman, in conjunction with Carnival Films for London Weekend Television. Following a single pilot episode, broadcast in 1993, London Weekend Television commissioned a full-length five-episode series, to be filmed later that year for broadcast in 1994. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Great Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century. They were widely used across Europe, and later in Australia, North Africa, North America and South America. While ballads have no prescribed structure and may vary in their number of lines and stanzas, many ballads employ quatrains with ABCB or ABAB rhyme schemes, the key being a rhymed second and fourth line.
