Lu'an
Lu'an (), is a prefecture-level city in western Anhui province, People's Republic of China, bordering Henan to the northwest and Hubei to the southwest. As of the 2020 census, it had a total population of 4,393,699 inhabitants whom 1,752,537 lived in the built-up (or metro) area made of Yu'an and Jin'an urban districts. Neighbouring prefecture-level cities are the provincial capital of Hefei to the east, Anqing to the south, Huanggang (Hubei) and Xinyang (Henan) to the west, and Huainan and Fuyang to the north. Although the character (literally: "six") is normally pronounced "Liù", in this case it changes to "Lù" on account of the historical literary reading. Hefei–Wuhan Railway
The Hefei–Wuhan railway () is a high-speed railway in Chinese provinces of Anhui and Hubei, with trains running from Anhui's capital Hefei to Hubei's capital Wuhan. The railway opened on 31 December 2008, high-speed services started on April 1, 2009. at and has been used by Shanghai–Nanjing–Hefei–Wuhan express trains since then. As of July 2010, scheduling systems showed nine daily D-series express trains running in each direction between Hefei and Wuhan's three train stations (Wuhan, Hankou, and Wuchang), making the trip in 2 hours to 2 hrs 40 min. Another six Shanghai-Wuhan D-series trains passed this section without stopping in Hefei. Nanjing–Xi'an Railway
The Nanjing–Xi'an railway or Ningxi railway (), is a major trunkline railroad in China between Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province and Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province. The Chinese name for the line, Ningxi, is named after the two terminal cities, ''Ning'', the Chinese character shorthand for the city of Nanjing, and ''Xi'' for Xian.
