The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc () is the political wing of Hezbollah in the Parliament of Lebanon. Along with Amal, it dominates the March 8 Alliance and has held two seats in the Lebanese cabinet since 2012. Parliament Of Lebanon
The Lebanese Parliament (, ) is the unicameral national parliament of the Lebanon, Republic of Lebanon. There are 128 members elected to a four-year term in Electoral district, multi-member constituencies, apportioned among Lebanon's diverse Christianity in Lebanon, Christian and Islam in Lebanon, Muslim denominations but with half of the seats reserved for Christians and half for Muslims per Constitutional Article 24. Baabda District
Baabda District (, transliteration: ''Qada' Baabda''), sometimes spelled ''B'abda'', is a district (''qadaa'') of Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon, to the south and east of the Lebanon's capital Beirut. Hussein Moussawi
Hussein Moussawi (; born 1943 in Al-Nabi Shayth) is a Shia Lebanese politician who is a member of the Hezbollah. Boaz Ganor and Miri Halperin Wernli assert that in 2006 Moussawi and his brother Hashem Moussawi were involved in the making of exact copies of the drug Captagon, illegal in most countries, which they distributed to the Arab world. Hasbaya
Hasbaya or Hasbeiya () is a municipality in Lebanon, situated at the foot of Mount Hermon, overlooking a deep amphitheatre from which a brook flows to the Hasbani River. In 1911, the population was about 5,000. The town was a traditional seat of the Chehab family, local rulers under Ottoman suzerainty. They built the Chehabi Citadel, a prominent landmark in the town. Ali Fayyad (; born 1962 in Tayibe) is a Lebanese Member of Parliament, from Hezbollah and part of the March 8 alliance, representing the Marjeyoun/Hasbaya district. He was elected in June 2009. He is also Director of the Hezbollah think tank, The Studies and The Documentation Center, in Lebanon. Career Ali Fayyad is a shiite Muslim. Nabatieh (, ', Syriac-Aramaic: ܐܠܢܒܛܝܥ), or Nabatîyé (), is a city of the Nabatieh Governorate, in southern Lebanon. History Nabateans The most accepted theory is related to the Nabateans (spelled النبطي), an ancient Arab civilization that inhabited northern Arabia and the southern Levant. The name of the city colloquially is, النبطية meaning in a broader linguistic sense "the Nabatean" in a feminine form, a form which would have been used to name cities (e.g. Alexandria, Egypt). Alternatively, this form of the word may have been in the genitive case as well due to the presence of a definite article. Bint Jbeil (; Levantine pronunciation: , "daughter of (the) little mountain" or "daughter of Byblos") is the second largest municipality in the Nabatiye Governorate in Southern Lebanon. Hassan Fadlallah
Hassan Fadlallah (; born 1967 in Aynata), is a Lebanese member of parliament representing the Bint Jbeil district. He is part of Hezbollah March 8 alliance. Career Hassan Fadlallah was born in Ainata in the Jabal Amel region to a Shia family. Fadlallah took a part in the creation of Hezbollah's radio network. Nawwaf Moussawi
Nawwaf Moussawi (; born 3 April 1965) is a Shia Lebanese member of parliament who represented the Sour district. He is part of Hezbollah's bloc. Controversies In February 2019, Moussawi was suspended from the political activities within his party, due to his violation of a Hezbollah policy of avoiding arguments with rival politicians. The one-year suspension came after his spat with Samy Gemayel and Nadim Gemayel regarding the legitimacy of President Michel Aoun who managed, according to Moussawi, to reach his position under "the rifle of the resistance" but "not on an Israeli tank"; in reference to President Bachir Gemayel. Tyre (; ; ; ; ) is a city in Lebanon, and one of the List of oldest continuously inhabited cities, oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Mohammad Fneish
Muhammad Fneish (; born 1953) is a Shia Lebanese politician and member of Hezbollah. He represented Hezbollah in the Third Cabinet of Saad Hariri, serving as the Minister of Sports and Youth.
