''Love in Limbo'' (released in the Philippines as ''Touch Me, Kiss Me, Love Me'') is a 1993 Australian romantic comedy film directed and produced by David Elfick. The film stars Craig Adams, Aden Young and Russell Crowe. The film was released on 20 May 1993. Visually the film was heavily influenced by ''The Girl Can't Help It'' (1956). It was nominated for three awards by the Australian Film Institute in 1992. David Elfick
David Elfick (born 20 December 1944) is an Australian film and television writer, director, producer and occasional actor. He is known for his association with writer-director Phillip Noyce, with whom he has collaborated on films including ''Newsfront'' (1978) and ''Rabbit-Proof Fence'' (2002). Career Elfick began his film career as the producer of the 1971 surf movie '' Morning of the Earth'', directed by Alby Falzon. In 1973 Elfick collaborated with surfer, writer and cinematographer George Greenough as producer-director of '' Crystal Voyager''. This became one of the most successful Australian surf movies ever made, grossing over A$100,000 on its first release, followed by six-month run in London, where it ran on a double bill with René Laloux's '' Fantastic Planet'' and grossed over UK£100,000. David Stratton
David James Stratton (born 10 September 1939) is an English-Australian award-winning film critic, as both a journalist and interviewer, film historian and lecturer and television personality and producer. Life and career Born in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England, in 1939, Stratton was sent to Hampshire to see out the war years with his grandmother, an avid filmgoer, where he was taken to the local cinemas regularly and saw a diverse range of movies. He attended Chafyn Grove School from 1948 to 1953 as a boarder. He saw his first foreign film at Bath in 1955— Italian romantic comedy '' Bread, Love and Dreams''. That was soon followed by Akira Kurosawa's Japanese adventure drama classic ''Seven Samurai'' tracked down in Birmingham. At the age of 19, he founded the Melksham and District Film Society.
