Louis Victor De Blacquetot De Caux
Louis Victor de Blacquetot de Caux (23 May 1773 in Douai – 6 June 1845) was a Lieutenant-General of Engineering, State Councilor, Minister, Commander of St. Louis and the Legion of Honor. Life He was the son of Jean Baptiste de Caux of Blacquetot. He studied at College of Juilly, and he joined the Army, a second lieutenant in the engineers on 1 March 1793. He was in the campaign of the armies of the Ardennes, the Rhine, and Moselle. He distinguished himself in fighting at the Battle of Erbach, Dillingen, at the Battle of Neresheim and crossing the Danube, and at Korich, and Bourgrieden. He was appointed Battalion commander in 1799, and was appointed by Moreau, to settle with the Ferdinand, Graf Bubna von Littitz, an armistice on the streets of Ulm, Ingolstadt and Philipsburg, occupied by the Austrians. Duke of Richelieu (french: duc de Richelieu) was a title of French nobility. It was created on 26 November 1629 for Armand Jean du Plessis de Richelieu (known as Cardinal Richelieu) who, as a Roman Catholic clergyman, had no issue to pass it down to. It instead passed to his great-nephew, Armand Jean de Vignerot,The surname ''Vignerot'', held by the brother-in-law of Cardinal Richelieu and his descendants, was also spelled ''Vignerod''. grandson of his elder sister Françoise du Plessis (1577–1615), who had married René de Vignerot, ''Seigneur de Pontcourlay'' († 1625). Louis-Auguste-Victor, Count de Ghaisnes de Bourmont (2 September 1773 – 27 October 1846) was a French general, diplomat and statesman who was named Marshal of France in 1830. A lifelong royalist, he emigrated from France soon after the outbreak of the French Revolution and fought with the counter-revolutionary Army of Condé for two years, then joined the insurrection in France for three more years before going into exile. He was arrested after assisting the Georges Cadoudal conspiracy, but escaped to Portugal. In 1807 he took advantage of an amnesty to rejoin the French army and served in several campaigns until 1814. He rose in rank to become a general of division. During this period, he was suspected of being an agent of the Comte d'Artois and passing information to France's enemies. Though he was notoriously anti-Napoleon and many officers did not trust him, he was employed again during the Hundred Days. Aimé, Duc De Clermont-Tonnerre
Aimé-Marie-Gaspard, comte de Clermont-Tonnerre (27 November 1779 – 8 January 1865) was a French general and statesman. Son of Gaspard-Paulin, vicomte de Clermont-Tonnerre and Anne-Marie- Louise Bernard de Boulainvilliers, and grandson of the Marquis de Boulainvilliers, Clermont-Tonnerre lived during the revolution with his grandfather. Life He entered the École Polytechnique, before entering the army. He participated in the campaigns in Italy, Germany and Spain and was made adjudant of the King of Naples in 1808, in whose service he stayed afterwards. He married Charlotte de Cauvoisin and in 1814 returned to the French army as a colonel, was Maréchal de Camp and after the second return of the king, was made Peer of France and commander of the cavalry of the guard.
