Los Robles La Paz () or simply La Paz is a municipality and a town in the Department of Cesar, Colombia. The town is close to the Capital city of the Department of Cesar; Valledupar. The municipality of La Paz borders to the north with La Guajira Department, to the northeast with the municipality of Manaure. To the east with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela sharing the Serranía del Perijá mountain range. To the south with the municipality of Codazzi, southwest with the municipality of El Paso, Cesar (sharing the Magdalena River as border). To the west with the municipality of San Diego and to the northwest with the municipality of Valledupar. Los Robles Archaeological District
The Los Robles Archaeological District is located in Arizona's Ironwood Forest National Monument and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 11, 1989. The district is nearly 13,000 acres and contains over 100 historic and prehistoric archaeological sites, including the Los Robles Platform Mound Community and a trincheras. In 2003, George H. Johnson and his Johnson International Inc. illegally bulldozed 270 acres of state trust land in and near Los Robles, causing an estimated $8,000,000 in damage. Several sites were completely destroyed, including areas within the Los Robles Platform Mound Community. In addition, Johnson International Inc. destroyed over 40,000 protected plants, contaminated local water sources by illegally dumping pollutants, and was responsible for the deaths of at least twenty-one endangered Desert bighorn sheep, and the injury of several others. Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center is the largest hospital in eastern Ventura County. It is a hospital and medical center complex in the city of Thousand Oaks, California. It is a 382-bed acute care hospital with a level II trauma center. The facility is owned by HCA−Hospital Corporation of America, and operated by their HCA Far West Division. The House at 1240 North Los Robles is a historic house located at 1240 North Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena, California. The Shingle style house was built in 1896. The two-story wood-frame house has an irregular plan with a cross gabled roof. Projecting gable ends on the second story feature curved, shingled bracket A bracket is either of two tall fore- or back-facing punctuation marks commonly used to isolate a segment of text or data from its surroundings. Typically deployed in symmetric pairs, an individual bracket may be identified as a 'left' or 'r ...s; a porch under the north gable is supported by shingled columns. Governor Stoneman Adobe, Los Robles was the home of George Stoneman, the 15th Governor of California, from January 10, 1883, to January 8, 1887. The location was designated a California Historic Landmark (No. 669) on December 1, 1958. Nothing remains of the home as it was destroyed in a fire, which was rumored to have been started by one of his political enemies. George Stoneman was a general in the Union Army in the American Civil War, who led the last cavalry raid of the war. After the war, Stoneman moved to California, the place of which he had dreamed since his service as a young officer before the war.
