''Los Metálicos'' (Spanish language, Spanish for "The Metallic Ones") was a Mexican professional wrestling group, called a Glossary of professional wrestling terms#Stable, stable, who worked in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) between 1991 and 1993. The group worked as a ''Face (professional wrestling), tecnico'' (term used for wrestlers who portray the "good guys") faction. Most of the members of the team were brothers, part of the Hernández wrestling family, with only Black Warrior (wrestler), Bronce I, Chamaco Valaguez, Platino I and Platino II are not related to the rest of the team. Jesús Javier Hernández Silva (December 24, 1971 – October 26, 1993) was a Mexican professional wrestler known under the ring name Oro (''Gold''), a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestling, professional wrestler. Hernández died in 1993 as a direct result of a wrestling match. He was a second-generation wrestler, and several of his brothers and cousins were also wrestlers. His nephew works for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as Oro Jr. as an homage to his uncle. Mexican National Tag Team Championship
The Mexican National Tag Team Championship ''()'' is a national Mexican professional wrestling championship controlled by the (Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission) and competed for by two-man tag teams. The championship was created in 1957, promoted regularly until 2003, and intermittently until 2011 when the last known defense took place. (EMLL) had control of the championship from its creation until 1992, at which point it was transferred to AAA. NWA World Welterweight Championship
The NWA World Welterweight Championship () is an inactive professional wrestling championship governed by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and most recently promoted by NWA Mexico. The championship was originally created in 1946 by the Mexican promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). As with all professional wrestling championships, matches for the NWA World Welterweight Championship were not won or lost competitively but by a pre-planned ending to a match, with the outcome determined by the CMLL bookers and match makers. CMLL controlled the championship from 1946 until 1996 and again from 2007 until 2010. Blue Panther
Genaro Vázquez Nevarez (born September 18, 1960) is a Mexican professional wrestler and trainer, best known under his ring name Blue Panther. He made his in-ring debut in 1978. Since then, he has worked for most major Mexican professional wrestling promotions, including the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Asistencia, Asesoría y Administración (AAA). He was one of the first wrestlers to leave CMLL for AAA when it was created in 1992, but returned to CMLL in 1997 where he has competed ever since. Antonio Hipolito Peña Herrada (June 13, 1951 – October 5, 2006) was a Mexican professional wrestling promoter who founded the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) promotion in 1992. Peña's promotion reached its height of popularity in the early 1990s prior to the 1994 downturn of the Mexican economy, but continues to operate. Peña's AAA is the promotion largely responsible for bringing the ''lucha libre'' style to the United States, with AAA wrestlers such as Rey Misterio Jr., Psicosis, La Parka, Konnan and others eventually competing for American promotions. Jesús Reza Rosales (born January 15, 1951) is a Mexican '' Luchador'', or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Mano Negra. Mano Negra is Spanish for "The Black Hand" and is taken from the Spanish anarchist organisation '' La Mano Negra''.
