Loopy De Loop
''Loopy De Loop'' is an American animated theatrical series produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera after leaving MGM and opening their new studio, Hanna-Barbera Productions. Loopy De Loop Profile 48 cartoons were produced between 1959 and 1965, and released to theatres by Columbia Pictures. It was one of the final theatrical cartoon series to be released by Columbia, as well as the only one to be produced by the studio. Overview Loopy (voiced by Daws Butler) is a gentleman wolf who mangles the English language in his bid to converse in a Franco-Canadian accent, and always wears a characteristic tuque knit cap and scarf. William Hanna
William Denby Hanna (July 14, 1910 – March 22, 2001) was an American animator, voice actor, and musician who is best known for co-creating ''Tom and Jerry'' and providing the vocal effects for the series' title characters. Alongside Joseph Barbera, he also founded the animation studio and production company Hanna-Barbera. Hanna joined the Harman and Ising animation studio in 1930 and steadily gained skill and prominence while working on cartoons such as ''The Captain and the Kids (MGM animated series), Captain and the Kids''. In 1937, while working at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Hanna met Barbera. Kenneth Muse
Kenneth Muse (July 26, 1910 – July 26, 1987) was an American animator, best known for his work on the ''Tom and Jerry'' series at MGM Cartoons. Biography Muse worked briefly at Walt Disney Productions, where he was Preston Blair's assistant on '' Fantasia'' (he helped animate "''The Sorcerer's Apprentice''" scenes). He also provided animation for ''Pinocchio'' (" I've Got No Strings" sequence), '' Fantasia'' and various Mickey Mouse cartoons such as ''Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip'' (1940), '' Mickey's Birthday Party'' (1942) and '' Symphony Hour'' (1942). He was paid $22 a week to draw Mickey Mouse. Dick Lundy (animator)
Richard James Lundy (August 14, 1907 – April 7, 1990) was an American animator and film director who worked at several animation studios including Walt Disney Productions, MGM, Walter Lantz Productions, and Hanna-Barbera. Lundy was a pioneer of personality animation and is best remembered as one of the creators of Donald Duck. Throughout his career he worked as a primary animator on at least 60 films, both short and feature-length, and directed 51 shorts. Early life Lundy was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to James and Minnie Lundy, their only child. Carlo Vinci (February 27, 1906 – September 30, 1993) was an American animator active from the 1930s to the 1970s. He is mainly known for his career at the Terrytoons and Hanna-Barbera cartoon studios. Among the characters he animated were the original Mighty Mouse, Yogi Bear and Flintstones.
