Loop Soup
''Loop Soup'' is the sixth studio album by Danish singer and songwriter Oh Land. It was released on 29 September 2023 through Tusk or Tooth Records and the Universal Music Denmark. A musical departure from her 2019 album ''Family Tree'', the electropop and synth-pop record was influenced by 1960s and 1970s films, and contains elements of disco, electro, and psychedelic music. Individual songs on the album were compared to the works of ABBA, Dagny, Giorgio Moroder, and Tove Lo. ''Loop Soup'' was produced by Nick Labajewska "Vasco" Madsen and her husband Adnan Zukanovic, and features guest collaborations with Broods and Ximena Sariñana. ''Loop Soup'' drew mixed reviews from critics. The album was supported by three singles prior to its release – " Bleeed", " My Freak", and "Bucket List" – and the promotional single " I'd Rather Sing". Oh Land
Nanna Øland Fabricius (born 2 May 1985), better known by her stage name Oh Land, is a Danish musician, singer, songwriter, actress and television personality. Early life Oh Land was born in Copenhagen, the daughter of Bendt Fabricius, an organist (not to be confused with the composer Bent Fabricius Bjerre), and Bodil Øland, an opera singer. She is the great-great-grandchild of Lutheran missionary and ethnographer Otto Fabricius, who published ''Fauna Groenlandica'' in 1780, the first zoological observations of Greenland. She is a former student of the Royal Danish and Royal Swedish Ballet schools. However, an injury caused by a slipped disc and spinal fracture put an end to her dancing career, which eventually led her to start making music. Tove Lo
Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson (born 29 October 1987), known professionally as Tove Lo (), is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She has been called "Sweden's darkest pop export" by ''Rolling Stone.'' She is known for her raw, grunge-influenced take on pop music. Her honest, complex and autobiographical lyrical content has led to her being dubbed "the saddest girl in Sweden". Raised in the Djursholm district of Danderyd, Lo is an alumna of the music school Rytmus Musikergymnasiet. She formed the rock band Tremblebee in 2006. ''X Factor'' is the Danish version of british Tv show '' The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been fifteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022). The original judging panel consisted of Thomas Blachman, Lina Rafn and Remee. The current panel consists of Blachman and Martin Jensen. To kick the bucket is an English idiom considered a euphemistic, informal, or slang term meaning "to die". Its origin remains unclear, though there have been several theories. Boney M. was a German- Caribbean vocal group that specialized in disco and funk created by German record producer Frank Farian, who was the group's primary songwriter.
