''Long Live the Cowboy'' is the eleventh studio album by country music artist Clay Walker. The album is Walker's first full-length studio LP of new music in nine years since 2010's ''She Won't Be Lonely Long''. The album was released independently through Walker's own record label, ''Maven Records'' on January 21, 2019. In addition to the singles "Right Now", "Working on Me" and "Change", the album features a cover of Ed Sheeran's signature hit "Thinking Out Loud". Background In late 2014, a sampler on Walker's website included snippets from his biggest hits along with a 30-second snippet of a song titled "Rock The Radio". Later that year, while performing shows at state fairs across the country, Walker announced that his new album, then-titled "Rock The Radio", would be released in late 2014 or early 2015. Ernest Clayton Walker Jr. (born August 19, 1969) is an American country music artist. He made his debut in 1993 with the single " What's It to You", which reached Number One on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart, as did its follow-up, 1994's " Live Until I Die". Both singles were included on his self-titled debut album, released in 1993 via Giant Records. He stayed with the label until its 2001 closure, later recording for Warner Bros.
