Enter Shikari are a British rock band formed in 2003. Their debut album, ''Take to the Skies'', was released on 19 March 2007 and reached number 4 in the UK Albums Chart. Their third studio album ''A Flash Flood of Colour'' was released on 16 January 2012 and debuted at number 4. Enter Shikari
Enter Shikari (stylised as enter: shikari and occasionally as ΣΠΤΣ℞ SΗΦΚ∆℞Φ) are a British rock band formed in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe. In 2003, guitarist Rory Clewlow joined the band to complete its current line-up, and it adopted its current name. In 2006, they performed to a growing fanbase at Download Festival as well as a sold-out concert at the London Astoria. The official singles chart for Scotland, the Scottish Singles Chart, which was based on how physical and digital sales towards the UK Singles Chart were faring in Scotland, has not been published since 20 November 2020. Tribalism (album)
''Tribalism'' is the second compilation album by British rock band Enter Shikari, released on 22 February 2010. The album contains two brand new tracks, b-sides, remixes and live tracks. A limited edition version of the album was released in a boxset package also containing a sticker, poster and badges. Only 1,000 of this edition were made. History Songs on the compilation were recorded between 2007 and 2009. The first single "Thumper" was released on 12 February 2010. The video for "Thumper" shows the band in black-and-white and ending up looking cartoon-esque, not unlike A-Ha's " Take On Me", although the band members' faces are distorted, with wide mouths, pointed noses and sunken eyes. This type of animation is called rotoscoping. The video was directed and animated by Joseph Pierce. The Zone (album)
''The Zone'' is the first compilation album by British rock band Enter Shikari. It was announced on 1 October 2007 by one of the members of Ambush Reality and was released on 12 November 2007. The compilation features b-sides, demos and a remix by Rou's side-project, Routron 5000. The first few released have 2 hidden tracks, these were put on by mistake. Three tracks are from the BBC Radio 1 Zane Lowe Session performance. There is also a limited run of The Zone with only four tracks on it. ''Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible'' is the sixth studio album by English rock band Enter Shikari, released on 17 April 2020 through Ambush Reality and SO Recordings. Background and production British rock band Enter Shikari released their fifth studio album '' The Spark'' on 22 September 2017, via Ambush Reality and PIAS Recordings. The following year, on 26 November 2018, they released a book titled ''The Spark - Lyrics & Exegesis of Rou Reynolds'', which featured all lyrics from ''The Spark'', as well as essays on the album's tracks provided by frontman Rou Reynolds.
