''Live at the ICA'' is a live album by Queenadreena, released in September 2005, which includes songs from their first three albums. It was recorded at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London on 22 March 2005. In April 2006, the ''Queenadreena Live'' DVD was released, featuring both the ICA show and a bonus show at the Astoria in London. Pete Howard
Peter Howard is an English rock drummer. He was a member of the Clash from 1983 until 1986. Career The Clash (1983–86) Howard joined the Clash in spring 1983. Drummer Topper Headon had been fired the previous year – shortly before the release of the album ''Combat Rock'' – owing to the effects of his heroin addiction on the band. When Headon's replacement (the group's original drummer Terry Chimes) also left, Howard replaced him in turn. He played with the band after their last tour before founding member Mick Jones was sacked, when they co-headlined the US Festival in San Bernardino, California, on 28 May 1983; at the festival's New Music Day they drew a crowd estimated at between 100,000 and 200,000 people. Queenadreena Albums
Queenadreena were an British rock music, English alternative rock band that formed in London, England in 1998 by vocalist KatieJane Garside and guitarist Crispin Gray, who had previously collaborated in the celebrated but short-lived band Daisy Chainsaw. Garside and Gray, who had earned a reputation for their abrasive songwriting with Daisy Chainsaw, incorporated elements of blues rock and other genres with Queenadreena, in addition to their predominant noise rock influences. The band released four studio albums between 2000 and 2008, beginning with the critically acclaimed ''Taxidermy (Queenadreena album), Taxidermy'' (2000). "Pretty Polly", "The Gosport Tragedy" or "The Cruel Ship's Carpenter" () is a traditional English-language folk song found in the British Isles, Canada, and the Appalachian region of North America, among other places. The song is a murder ballad, telling of a young woman lured into the forest where she is killed and buried in a shallow grave. Many variants of the story have the villain as a ship's carpenter who promises to marry Polly but murders her when she becomes pregnant. When he goes back to sea, either he is haunted by her ghost, confesses to the murder, goes mad and dies, or the ship will not sail. He denies the murder and is ripped to pieces by her ghost.
