Liu Jie (politician, Born 1915)
Liu Jie (; 17 February 1915 – 23 September 2018) was a Chinese communist politician. From 1960 to the outbreak of the Cultural Revolution he was minister of the Second Ministry of Machine Building which was responsible for the nuclear industry. Subsequently, he was governor of the province of Henan Henan; alternatively Honan is a province in Central China. Henan is home to many heritage sites, including Yinxu, the ruins of the final capital of the Shang dynasty () and the Shaolin Temple.
