Atakor Volcanic Field
Atakor volcanic field ("Atakor" in Tuareg means "swollen part, knot at the end of something") is a volcanic field in Algeria. It lies in the Hoggar Mountains, Hoggar mountains and consists of a variety of volcanic features such as lava flows and about 450 individual vents. Atakor is one of several large volcanic fields in this mountain range, which sits atop of a Geologic uplift, domal uplift and has erupted basalt, trachyte and phonolite. Volcanism in Atakor took place in several different phases, beginning 20 million years ago and continuing into the Holocene. Presently there is Fumarole, fumarolic activity. Geography and geomorphology The field lies in the Hoggar and the terrain approaches elevations of although the volcanics form an only superficial cover. The ground has a desert-like appearance. The scenery of the volcanic field is considered to be spectacular, with the lava domes and volcanic necks rising above the surrounding terrain. The field consists of lava domes, ...

Keluo
Keluo ( Chinese: , p ''Kēluò'') is a dormant volcanic field north-by-northwest of Daquijin in northeastern China. It is located at an intersection of regional lineaments trending northeast and northwest; the volcanoes were erupted through basement igneous and sedimentary rocks from the Jurassic to Cretaceous, through granite, and through pre-Permian metasediments. Like the Wudalianchi volcanic to its south, it contains high-potassium basaltic cinder cones.''VolcanoDiscovery''.Keluo volcano. Accessed 25 July 2014. The field possesses 23 cones over an area of . There are reports of historical activity, but these remain unconfirmed. The morphology of a number of the conesincluding Nanshan (), Gushan (), Jianshan (), Dayishan (), and Xiaoyishan ()suggests their formation during the last 10,000 years (the Holocene). Most cones to the northeast, however, probably date from the Pleistocene to the Tertiary. Other peaks include Dangzishan, Heishan, and Muhenanshan. See al ...

Honggeertu Volcanic Field
Honggeertu is a volcanic field in China, in Inner Mongolia. The field is formed by twelve basaltic cinder cones. Some of the cones formed on a fault. It may be of Holocene age. Young lava flows from this field look much younger than these of Quaternary volcanoes in the neighbourhood. The volcanism may originate in the tectonic effects of the movement of the Ordos Block. Seismic tomography indicates the presence of a low velocity region at the volcano. Hainan Volcanic Field
The Hainan Volcanic Field is a volcanic field covering the northern half of Hainan, People's Republic of China. It follows the Last Glacial Period, which concluded with the Holocene glacial retreat. The Holocene and the preceding Pleistocene to ... in age, minor eruptions have been recorded in the 19th and 20th centuries. The field is made up of 58 Pleistocene-Holocene tholeiitic cones. The two best preserved cones (Leihuling and Ma'anshan ()) are on an East-West fracture line that contains 30 young cones in the Shishan () and Yongzing regions. Historically, small fissure eruptions have been recorded from the Lingao and Chengmai areas. Two eruptions have been reported in recent history. A small fissure eruption took place from Lingao cone in the Lingao area sometime in 1883. Another small fissure eruption took place from ...

Tagabo Hills
The Tagabo Hills is a volcanic field in the region of Darfur in Sudan. It lies north of the Marrah Mountains and southwest of the larger Meidob Volcanic Field. The Tagabo Hills are also known as the Kutum Volcanic Field, after the town of Kutum, or the Berti Hills after the Berti people. It contains well-preserved features, such as scoria cones, thought to be of the late Pleistocene or even as recent as the Holocene. However, a 1997 analysis ascribed the rocks only to the Paleogene/Neogene periods. Todra Volcanic Field
Todra volcanic field is a volcanic field in the Aïr region, Niger. The field consists of about 150 volcanoes, whose position is fault controlled. Their eruption products (mainly basalt but also phonolite and trachyte) cover a surface of about . Geologically, they are located at the northwestern end of the Téfidet graben In geology, a graben () is a depression (geology), depressed block of the Crust (geology), crust of a planet or moon, bordered by parallel normal faults. Etymology ''Graben'' is a loan word from German language, German, meaning 'ditch' or 't ... of the Trans-Saharan orogen. The field may have had historical eruptions.
