Cheng Peng (serial Killer)
Cheng Peng ( zh, 程鹏; 1962 – 25 September 1995) was a Chinese serial killer and dog breeder who killed six people in Yinchuan from 1988 to 1995, occasionally with the help of three accomplices. He is best remembered for the fact that he fed some of his victims' remains to his dogs, one of which was featured in the 1993 film '' An Old Man And His Dog'' ( zh, 老人与狗), directed by renowned Chinese director Xie Jin, in which Peng himself was also cast as a body double to lead actor Tian Xie. Chen Yongfeng (; 1983 – April 7, 2004), known as The Butcher, was a Chinese serial killer who operated in the Wenzhou area in early 2003. Before his capture, Chen killed and dismembered 10 people, all of them were scrap merchants whom he invited into his home. Chen Fuzhao ( zh, 陈福兆; 1974 – 18 June 2004) was a Chinese serial killer who murdered 17 people between May and June 2003 with rat poison. Chen was an assistant clinical physician in Cangnan County, Zhejiang. He began practicing Falun Gong in 1996, which was reported to be the motive for his crimes. Life imprisonment is one of the five principal punishments stipulated in Article 33 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China.
