Brockhaus Enzyklopädie
The ( German for ''Brockhaus Encyclopedia'') is a German-language encyclopedia which until 2009 was published by the F. A. Brockhaus printing house. The first edition originated in the '' Conversations-Lexikon'' published by Renatus Gotthelf Löbel and Franke in Leipzig 1796–1808. Renamed ''Der Große Brockhaus'' in 1928 and from 1966, the 21st thirty-volume edition contains about 300,000 entries on about 24,000 pages, with about 40,000 maps, graphics and tables. EcuRed is a Cuban online encyclopedia built on MediaWiki software. The site was launched on 13 December 2010. The name is an acronym from the Spanish phrase ' (literally "Cuban Encyclopedia on the Network"). Content EcuRed was launched by the Cuban government, is based in Wikipedia and its content is closely entwined with the Cuban Revolution. The project is written from a perspective supportive of the Revolution. For example, EcuRed's writes about Fidel Castro saying "Today he writes and participates in the struggle of ideas worldwide. Enciklopedio Kalblanda
() was the first online encyclopedia written in the Esperanto language. It was founded on January 11, 1996 by Stephen Kalb, who was the general editor.
