This is a list of all megatall skyscrapers, which are skyscrapers that are at least 600 m (approximately 1,968 feet) tall. , only four completed buildings are 'megatall'. Although dozen of such buildings have been proposed, currently only three are under construction, Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, Oblisco Capitale in Egypt, and the Burj Azizi in United Arab Emirates. Sky City (Changsha)
Sky City (), or Sky City One, was an planned skyscraper in the city of Changsha, Hunan in south-central China. The prospective builders, Broad Sustainable Building, estimated it would take just 90 days to construct. Including the 120 days were needed for prefabrication before on-site work commenced, the sum of time needed was 210 days. Pre-construction activities were halted in August 2013 after government regulators required additional approvals. Broad Sustainable Building had intended to build a skyscraper, but the local government wanted the world's tallest building, hence the current plans. Nakheel Tower
Nakheel Tower () was a planned skyscraper on hold in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by developer Nakheel. The project was previously called Al Burj ( "The Tower"). While the proposal changed over time, the tower was intended to be the tallest building in the world, surpassing the Burj Khalifa which was completed in 2010. In January 2009, it was announced that the project was put on hold due to financial problems caused by the Great Recession. As a result of the Dubai World 2009 debt standstill, Nakheel Group's financial problems increased considerably and the tower was cancelled in December 2009. Tower M, formerly known as the KLCC East Gate Tower, is a proposed megatall skyscraper project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, situated within the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). KLCC Property Holdings Berhad, which was also responsible for the development of the Petronas Twin Towers, is currently developing the building as part of the revised KLCC Development Master Plan 1995. The masterplan was reviewed in 2012 to enhance the development potential of the development's remaining undeveloped parcels. The Tower M precinct will consist of three office towers on top of a retail podium and come upon four acres of land named Lots L, L1 and M next to Persiaran KLCC MRT station, previously KLCC East on the Putrajaya Line.
