Tigres Island
Tigres Island () is an island in Angola. It is situated in the Namibe Province. History It is the largest island of Angola; its area is 98 km. It once had been a small peninsula in Tigres Strait known as ''Península dos Tigres'' with a well established fishing village named Saint Martin of the Tigers (in Portuguese: ''São Martinho dos Tigres''). The ocean broke through the isthmus of the peninsula on March 14, 1962, and the water line was severed. Tigres became an island overnight with no water supply. Later Tigres and the pump station at the Cunene river mouth were abandoned, and have become ghost towns slowly being reclaimed by the desert. Lândana
Cacongo (ex-Lândana, Concelho de Cacongo, Malemba, or Molembo) is a municipality in Cabinda Province, an exclave of Angola. Its principal town is Cacongo. Landana lies on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, adjacent to Landana Bay. The municipality covers and had a population of 39,076 at the 2014 Census; the latest official estimate (as at mid 2019) is 44,974. Sambizanga
Sambizanga is one of the six urban districts that make up the municipality of Luanda, in the province of Luanda, Angola. Overview Sambizanga has a 14.5 km2 area and about 244,000 inhabitants. Limited to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, on the north by the municipality of Cacuaco, in the East by the municipality of Cazenga and south by the municipalities of Ingombota and Rangel. It comprises the municipalities of Sambizanga, Bairro Operário and Ngola Kiluanje.
