Kakapir
Kakapir (), () is a fishing village and former island in Karachi Harbour, to the west of central Karachi, Pakistan. It is located near Hawke's Bay Beach, at the western end of Sandspit Beach, which now connects the island to the mainland. Mauripur lies to its north. The village is reportedly about 100 years old. Residents of the village were originally from the Mithadar and Kharadar neighborhoods of Karachi, who were settled by the British in Shams Pir during the construction of the Port of Karachi. Those residents migrated further west and established Kakapir. Ethnically, the population is mostly Sindhi Lasi, who claim to be descendants of the original indigenous inhabitants of Karachi and the Sindh coast. Khiprianwala Island
Khiprianwala Island (; ) is an island located in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The island lies south of Korangi and Ibrahim Hyderi, bordering Bundal and Buddo Islands at the fringes of the Indus River Delta. Khiprianwala exhibits sparse mangrove vegetation, predominantly Avicennia marina, alongside mud banks and swamps typical of the tropical coastal ecosystem. Efforts are being made to protect the island as its natural environment is increasingly disturbed and exploited. Oyster Rocks, Karachi
The Clifton Oyster Rocks () are a small archipelago off the coast of Karachi's Clifton neighborhood in Sindh, Pakistan. Formerly under the control of the Pakistan Navy, the islands were integrated into Karachi's urban redevelopment plans in 2006. As part of this initiative, the Port Fountain was constructed at the base of the northern island, reaching a height of and briefly ranking as the world's second-tallest fountain. Additionally, in 2015, a breakwater (structure), the Oyster Rock Strip, was built in collaboration with China under the Pakistan Deep Water Container Port (PDWCP) Project to protect the South Asia Pakistan Terminal from tidal forces and coastal erosion. The Pakistan Navy (PN) (; ''romanized'': Pākistān Bahrí'a; ) is the naval warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Manora, Karachi
Manora (, ) is a peninsula that forms a protective barrier between Karachi Harbour to the north and the Arabian Sea to the south. Manora, having a total population of 4,273 local residents (as per 2017 census), was formerly an island, but due to silting is now connected to the mainland by a 12 kilometre long natural sand bridge known as Sandspit. The entrance to Karachi was once guarded against pirate raids by the Manora Fort built in the 1790s, which was later upgraded by the British, and then the Pakistan Navy. Baba And Bhit Islands
Baba and Bhit Islands () are two small and densely populated islands located in the Karachi Harbour, in Karachi, Pakistan. The approximate area of Bhit island is roughly 0.16 km2 while that of Baba island is around 0.15 km2. Around 5,400 people live on Bhit island and around 6,600 on Baba island. With a population density of 33,750 and 44,000 people per km2 respectively, the two islands are among the most densely populated islands in the world. The islands are connected to Karachi via a ferry service to Keamari. The islands, along with Shams Pir, are old fishing villages in the harbor which predate the formal establishment of Karachi. The two islands are said to be over 400 years old. The ethnic groups in Baba & Bhit Islands include 90% Kutchi and 10% Sindhi. The entire population is Muslim.
