Durneva Island
Durneva Island or Dūrnev Araldary (Russian: Ostrov Durnëva) is a coastal island near the entrance of the Dead Kultuk (former Komsomolets Bay) of the eastern Caspian Sea. It is located north of the Buzachi Peninsula and 41.6 km north of Turum. Administratively Durneva Island belongs to the Mangystau Region of Kazakhstan. Tengizi Islands
The Tengizi Islands (also Tengiz Islands) are an archipelago in Korgalzhyn District, Akmola Region, Kazakhstan. Located in Lake Tengiz, the archipelago is about long and wide. It is formed by roughly 70 small and medium-sized islands. These form a compact cluster off the deeply indented eastern shore of the lake. Basaral ( kz, Басарал, ''Basaral'') is an island in Lake Balkhash. It is located in the southwestern portion of the lake. Geography Basaral is located close to the shore, separated from it by a wide sound. It has a length of a little over and a maximum width of roughly . Lake Balkhash
Lake Balkhash ( kk, Балқаш көлі, ''Balqaş kóli'', ; russian: озеро Балхаш, ozero Balkhash) is a lake in southeastern Kazakhstan, one of the largest lakes in Asia and the 15th largest in the world. It is located in the eastern part of Central Asia and sits in the Balkhash-Alakol Basin, an endorheic (closed) basin. The basin drains seven rivers, the primary of which is the Ili, bringing most of the riparian inflow; others, such as the Karatal, bring surface and subsurface flow. The Ili is fed by precipitation, largely vernal snowmelt, from the mountains of China's Xinjiang region. The lake currently covers about .
