The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck manufactured in the United States by the Japanese manufacturer Toyota since May 1999. Operated by Disney Transport as part of the resort's public transportation system, it runs 12 Mark VI monorail trains across three lines of service. Windermere is a town in Orange County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 3,030. It is part of the Orlando Metropolitan Statistical Area. History A post office opened in Windermere in 1888. The post office closed in 1901, and reopened in 1911. Windermere was established as a residential development in 1889 and chartered in 1925. During late 2007, the town of Windermere filed a proposal to annex Isleworth and Butler Bay, both wealthy subdivisions. Davenport is a city in Polk County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Lakeland– Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 9,043 at the 2020 Census. The city's population has increased dramatically since the 2010 Census, when the population was 2,888. History The settlement in the area now known as Davenport was established in 1838 when the US military set up Fort Davenport during the Second Seminole War, about 12 miles north of the present site of Davenport. Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a resort that is part of the Walt Disney World Resort. It is one of five Resorts in the Value Resort category, along with Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. All three All-Star Resorts are located on the southern portion of the Walt Disney World property (the only portion that is located in Osceola County; the rest of Walt Disney World is located in Orange County) and has a sports theme. Winter Garden is a city in western Orange County, Florida, United States. Located west of Downtown Orlando, it is part of the Orlando metropolitan area. Lake Alfred is a city in Polk County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Lakeland– Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was approximately 6,374 at the 2020 US census. History The city was established soon after the South Florida Railroad reached the area in 1883. It had a number of early names, including Fargo, Chubb and Bartow Junction. The settlement was named Fargo by snowbirds escaping the cold of Fargo, North Dakota.
