Glasgow High School (Kentucky)
Glasgow High School is a public high school (grades 9 to 12) in the city of Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky. It is the only public high school for Glasgow Independent Schools; however, Barren County High School, which is part of Barren County Schools, also lies within the city limits, and in fact lies physically within the boundaries of the Glasgow district. GHS celebrated its 100th commencement upon the graduation of the Class of 2015. Athletics Glasgow High sports teams compete under the nickname "Scotties," in honor of the city's Scottish heritage and name. Their colors are blue and white. The Scotties compete in football, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, swimming, track and field, and cross country on the varsity levels, and lacrosse as a club sport. Walton-Verona High School
Walton-Verona High School is a public high school located at 16 School Road in Walton, Kentucky, United States. It is in the Walton-Verona Independent Schools district. History The school's history dates back to 1880. At that time, there were two school districts, one in Verona and another in Walton. The two consolidated into one school district in 1935. A grade school was maintained in Verona, and a high school in Walton became known as the Walton-Verona Independent Schools. Walton-Verona Middle School was constructed in 1954 as a high school, with additions in 1962, 1973, 1989 and 1993. A new high school wing was constructed in 2007. Conner High School is a 9–12 grade public school located in Hebron, Kentucky United States. Conner is part of a larger campus that includes Conner Middle School and Goodridge Elementary. The Boone County Area Technology Center (formerly Boone County Vocational School) also sits on the same campus. Bell County High School
Bell County High School is one of three public high schools in Bell County, Kentucky, United States, and the only one in the county's school district (the other two, Middlesboro and Pineville, are operated by city-based "independent" districts). The school, which accommodates grades 9–12, became the county district's only public high school in the 1980s when it absorbed Lone Jack High School. Locally referred to as BCHS, Bell High, or Bell County, the current building was built after the flood of 1977 and succeeds the former high school (now known as Old Bell County High School, or simply Old Bell High) which is located in a flood plain and was heavily flooded in '77. Middlesboro High School (proper name, Middlesborough Senior High School) is a public high school in Middlesboro, Kentucky, United States one of three schools operated by Middlesboro Independent Schools History Middlesboro High School has been educating students for over 120 years. The first class of seniors graduated in 1894 just four years after the founding of Middlesboro in 1890. There is very little historical information remaining concerning Middlesboro's early educational institutes. In his 1943 book, "The History of Bell County" Henry Harvey Fuson (transcribed by C.
