HSG Graz
HSG Graz is an Austrian handball team from Graz. Their full name is HSG Holding Graz for sponsorship reasons. The first team plays in the Handball Liga Austria, the top flight in Austria. The team was founded in 1997. History The Graz-based team HC Waagner Biro had succes in the 1980s and 1990s but had begun to fade, and therefore HSG Graz was founded in 1997. In 2002 they were promoted for the first time to the Handball Liga Austria, but for financial reasons they volunteered to get relegated to the second tier in 2003. In 2017 they came in second in ÖHB Cup and in the 2018-19 they reached the quarter final of the Austrian league for the first time under coach Aleš Pajovič. Feldkirch () is a city rights, town in the western Austrian States of Austria, state of Vorarlberg, bordering on Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It is the administrative centre of the Feldkirch (district), Feldkirch district. After Dornbirn, it is the second most populous town in Vorarlberg. Station HYPO, also known as Fleet Radio Unit Pacific (FRUPAC), was the United States Navy signals monitoring and cryptographic intelligence unit in Hawaii during World War II. It was one of two major Allied signals intelligence units, called Fleet Radio Units in the Pacific theaters, along with FRUMEL in Melbourne, Australia. The station took its initial name from the phonetic code at the time for "H" for Heʻeia, Hawaii radio tower. The precise importance and role of HYPO in penetrating the Japanese naval codes has been the subject of considerable controversy, reflecting internal tensions amongst US Navy cryptographic stations. HYPO was under the control of the OP-20-G Naval Intelligence section in Washington. Before the attack on Pearl Harbor of December 7, 1941, and for some time afterwards, HYPO was in the basement of the Old Administration Building at Pearl Harbor. Hypo Niederösterreich (Hypo NÖ) is an Austrian women's handball club, headquartered in Maria Enzersdorf. They are one of the most successful teams on the EHF Champions League, having won the title eight times. They are also former winners of the EHF Champions Trophy in 2000. Between 2011 and 2014, Hypo NÖ had a partnership with the Brazilian Handball Confederation, playing host to various players of the Brazil women's national handball team - including Alexandra Nascimento, who already played for Hypo since 2003 - and coach Morten Soubak.
